FUNDRAISING CYCLE FOR MIZEN TO MALIN CHALLENGE THIS THURSDAY IN BURTONPORT

first_imgA cycling event will take place this Thursday in Burtonport, to help raise funds for the An Post Malin to Mizen cycling challenge which takes place on June Bank Holiday Weekend. The cycle kicks off this Thursday evening in Burtonport, and there will be two options available to those who participate.Cyclists can choose between participating in a 20k cycle or a 40k cycle around the Rosses. Registration is open from 6pm at the Burtonport Community Centre.Burtonport man Owen Coyle, is one of eight cyclists from An Post, who are set to cycle from Mizen to Malin Head on the June Bank Holiday Weekend for charityThere will be two helpers accompanying the eight cyclists on the five day charity trek.The other cyclists joining Owen Coyle, are Paul Herrity, Martin McGinley, Liam O’Grady, Eamon McGlinchey, Mark Nee, Jarlaith Lee and Austin Lee.
